[Measurement of temperatures in sealed box testing
method]
In order to maintain the validity of the test, temperature
probes were set on both inside and outside of the galvanized
metal plate that is coated with ThermBlock (painted inside). A
heating element was then placed inside the box; temperature
of probes were tracked in fixed time intervals. (Specified by 2004/8 Japan Paint Inspection
and Testing Association Foundation)
This test clearly shows that the ThermBlock maintains the temperature difference of more than 45°F.
ThermBlock was applied to the left side of the standing seam metal roof surface. The thermographic images below were taken from the exterior and interior of the building to compare the temperature difference.
Versatile ThermBlock works well in both hot and cold climate by blocking the heat transfer. The following pictures and charts depict the measured effectiveness of ThermBlock in real life applications in two completely opposite climate areas and seasons. In both cases, tremendous savings in energy bill have occurred.
ThermBlock was applied on the rooftop of the warehouse. The temperature of the outdoor surface and the indoor ambient were monitored before and after the application.
In two identical units of an apartment with the same temperature setting, ThermBlock was applied to the interior wall of one unit, and the indoor room temperature and number of activation of thermostats was monitored.
Results of temperature measurement with application of ThermBlcok (0.4mm of thickness) on concrete slab (50 mm.)
